Your medical record

One record that stays with you

Not a one-off bundle for a single visit, but a history that builds up and serves every doctor you see next.

  • The full timeline

Diagnoses, operations, hospital stays and consultations, in date order.

  • Medicines and allergies

Current and past treatment in one place, without relying on memory.

  • Results over time

Test results are arranged in series, so change is visible rather than hunted for.

  • For your family too

Help a parent gather their documents and arrive at their visit prepared.

Scanning

Snap it with your phone. Medbook sorts it out.

Photograph the document with your camera – Medbook crops and straightens the page and warns you if the shot is blurred. Multi-page documents are kept together as one.

You don't need to know what kind of document it is. The system suggests the type, date and healthcare facility, and the original is kept unchanged.

  • Scan with your camera or upload PDFs and photos
  • Old paper documents too
  • Every fact in your record links to its original document
  • Anything you add yourself is clearly marked
  • NZIS data – once an official integration is in place

Sharing

Share for a specific visit. Then access ends.

When you have an appointment with a specialist, you give that doctor access to your record for that visit. No folder to carry, no retelling everything from the start.

Access is time-limited. If your doctor doesn't use Medbook yet, they can receive a secure link and temporary access to what you shared – nothing more.

  • You choose the doctor and the visit
  • Access expires after the set period
  • Sensitive actions are recorded in a log
  • Text messages and e-mails contain no medical information

Your GP

Your GP – kept informed when it matters

Patient AI explains and points you in the right direction, but it never diagnoses. The decision is always the doctor's.

  • “My GP”

Find your GP by name and town and link your profile to them.

  • In development

“Analyse and send to my GP”

When new results arrive, you get a plain-language explanation and your GP gets a professional summary.

    • No medical jargon
    • A suggested next step with a doctor
    • Never a diagnosis or treatment
  • Your doctor decides

Your GP judges whether monitoring, a new test, an appointment or a referral to a specialist is needed.

Medical data on the platform is not used to train AI models.

  • Delete whenever you want

When you delete a document, the data and summaries derived from it are removed too.

Security and data

Medbook does not replace your doctor

Medbook organises and explains medical information, but it does not replace a doctor's examination and assessment. Patient AI is in development – it explains things in plain language and points you to a doctor, without diagnosing or prescribing treatment.

In an emergency, call 112.

Questions

Questions from patients

What is Medbook?

Medbook is a digital platform that brings your scattered medical documents – discharge letters, lab results, consultations, PDFs and photos – together into one structured record, arranged over time.

On top of that record, Medbook prepares the visit: you see your history in plain language, and a doctor you give access to receives a prepared summary that links back to every original document. So you don't have to retell your history to every new doctor.

Can I use Medbook now?

Not yet. Medbook is in development, and at the moment you can't sign up, upload documents or use the platform.

We are starting step by step in the Plovdiv region – first with a small group of doctors in our Design Partner programme, then with early access for patients. If you'd like us to let you know when early access opens in your region, join the early-access list.

Does Medbook replace my doctor, NZIS or medical software?

No. Medbook doesn't replace your doctor – medical assessment and decisions always stay with them.

Nor does Medbook replace NZIS (the Bulgarian National Health Information System) or the software your doctor uses. It works alongside them: we plan for NZIS to be a data source once an official integration is in place, and doctors keep working in their own system, copying the prepared text into it if they choose.

How much will Medbook cost?

Your profile and medical record will be free, with no subscription. NZIS data will never be charged separately. The first 10 pages of external documents will also be processed free of charge.

Only additional actions that involve real processing will be paid – for example processing documents beyond the free allowance, or “Analyse and send to my GP”. You pay only when you choose such an action, and your balance will be shown in euros. Prices will be published before launch.
