Last updated: [date]
Important: This text is a template and must be reviewed and approved by a lawyer before publication. Details in square brackets must be filled in.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms govern the use of the Medbook website (the "website"), operated by [Legal name], UIC [company number], with its registered office at [address]. By using the website you accept these terms.
2. An information website
The website is for information only. It presents the Medbook platform, which is in development and not yet available. Descriptions of features, integrations, pricing and timelines reflect our current plans and may change. Nothing on the website is an offer or a promise that any feature will be available in a particular form or by a particular date.
Joining the early-access list or applying for the Design Partner programme does not create contractual obligations for either party. Terms of use for the platform itself will be published separately before launch.
3. Not medical advice
The content of the website is not medical advice and does not replace a consultation with a doctor. Do not use the information on the website to make decisions about your health. If you have a health problem, contact your doctor; in an emergency, call 112.
Using the website or contacting us through its forms does not create a doctor–patient relationship.
4. Intellectual property
The text, design, logo, the Medbook name, illustrations and other content of the website belong to [Legal name] or are used with permission. You may not copy, distribute or modify them for commercial purposes without written consent. You are welcome to share links to pages on the website.
The example screens shown on the website are illustrative and contain fictional data.
5. Links to other websites
The website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the website in a way that could damage it or disrupt its operation, and do not send unlawful, misleading or third-party content, or medical information, through its forms.
7. Limitation of liability
[Confirm with a lawyer.] We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free, or that the website will be continuously available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the website or reliance on the information on it.
8. Personal data and cookies
How we process personal data is described in the Privacy policy, and the cookies we use in the Cookie policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date of the last change is shown at the top of the page. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Disputes are resolved by the competent Bulgarian court. [Confirm with a lawyer.]
11. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to [contact email] or through the contact form.
